Ко Пинг Кан в национальном парке Ао Пханг Нга — это место, где снимают кино. Именно здесь скрывался злодей Скараманга из фильма о Джеймсе Бонде.

Правда, нам до него не добраться на вертолете или скоростном катере — мы отправляемся на остров Джеймса Бонда на однодневную экскурсию. Добраться до него можно из Пхукета, Краби или Ко Яо Ной. Рассказываем, как организовать поездку и что еще стоит увидеть в национальном парке Ао Пханг Нга.

Как проще всего посетить остров Джеймса Бонда?

Закажите тур на целый день на скоростном катере с включенным обедом. В программе — каякинг по скрытым лагунам и пещерам островов Панак и Хонг. Проверьте доступность и забронируйте заранее.

Наша группа собралась рано утром. Мы первыми сели в автобус и выбрали лучшие места. К нам присоединились еще трое, и мы отправились в путь. За 1300 бат (или 1000, если без каякинга) мы получили насыщенный день с посещением острова Джеймса Бонда и других интересных мест. Тур организовала компания Rung Siam Andaman Group, которую мы нашли вчера вечером по пути к пирсу.

В 8:40 утра, через 30 минут после отправления, мы остановились на заправке. Еще через полчаса выяснилось, что ждем другой автобус. Наш водитель сказал «Туалет?», заправился, оставил нас в машине с кондиционером и исчез. К нам присоединились еще трое и гид Руди, который рассказал, что нас ждет в течение дня.

Через полтора часа мы прибыли на пирс Пханг Нга и пересели на длиннохвостую лодку. Она оказалась просторной, и каждый мог занять целый ряд сидений.

Мы пытались организовать тур самостоятельно, но решили сэкономить время и доверились гиду. Если хотите попасть на остров Джеймса Бонда с другой стороны, изучите варианты из Ко Яо Ной. Из Краби придется добираться на автобусе до Пханг Нга, затем до пирса и договариваться о лодке. Это сложно, поэтому мы, как и многие другие путешественники, выбрали готовый тур.

Кстати, «Тропа банановых блинчиков» — это неофициальный маршрут, популярный среди туристов в Юго-Восточной Азии, Индии и Китае. Мы сразу понимаем, что оказались на ней, когда видим толпы западных туристов в шлепках и шортах. В 60-70-х это была «Тропа хиппи».

Национальный парк Ао Пханг Нга потрясающе красив. Он напоминает бухту Халонг во Вьетнаме, но без мусора и бесконечного потока лодок. За 30 минут на длиннохвостой лодке мы встретили всего два судна.

Первым пунктом программы стал каякинг. Мы выбрали его первым, так как вода скоро уйдет, и позже плавать будет невозможно. Каяки оказались устойчивыми надувными лодками, рассчитанными на двоих и гребеца. Наш гребец был 24-летним отцом двоих детей, болельщиком «Манчестер Юнайтед» (как и многие тайцы).

За 40 минут мы проплыли вокруг карстовых скал, под арками и в пещеру, где пришлось лечь в лодке, чтобы проскользнуть. Мы также увидели мангровые заросли и остановились у «плавучих супермаркетов», где купили кокосы за 100 бат каждый.

Затем мы отправились на Ко Пинг Кан — остров, который стал известен благодаря фильму «Человек с золотым пистолетом» 1974 года. Именно здесь находилось логово Скараманги. Сам остров Ко Тапу возвышается на 20 метров и находится в 40 метрах от нас. Мы ожидали увидеть толпы туристов, но, к счастью, приехали в низкий сезон — на острове было не больше сотни человек.

Продавцы предлагали ракушки, шляпы и мороженое, но мы решили не купаться, хотя многие разделись и зашли в воду. Мы поднялись на вершину острова, чтобы сделать фото с другой стороны, и исследовали несколько пещет.

После 30 минут на острове Руди напомнил, что пора возвращаться, и мы отправились на «плавучий» остров Паньи. На самом деле он не плавает, а построен на сваях местными жителями. Здесь есть рестораны, школа, мечеть и даже стадион.

Затем мы посетили храм Ват Суванна Куха, известный своими обезьянами. Мы купили орехи, чтобы покормить их, и увидели золотого лежащего Будду.

Завершился тур у водопада, который в сухой сезон почти пересох. Мы решили не купаться и просто перекусили, ожидая возвращения в Краби.

Цель достигнута: логово Скараманги найдено, сфотографировано и вычеркнуто из списка. Вечером мы отправились на ночной рынок, где попробовали японские такояки, колбаски, шашлыки и мини-тарталетки.

Власти Таиланда рассматривают введение налога на выезд для пассажиров воздушного транспорта. Об этом сообщает РИА Новости со ссылкой на объявление департамента доходов Минфина страны.

Согласно проекту закона, который сейчас вынесен на общественное обсуждение, со всех, кто покидает Таиланд на самолёте (независимо от гражданства), планируют взимать сбор в размере 1000 бат за каждый выезд. Эту сумму предполагается включать в стоимость авиабилета при продаже.

Новый налог должен прийти на смену закону 1983 года — его действие приостановили ещё в 1991 году. Ранее сбор распространялся только на иностранцев‑резидентов Таиланда, теперь же его хотят применять ко всем вылетающим.

От уплаты налога планируют освободить ряд категорий лиц: членов королевской семьи и их зарубежных гостей, буддийского патриарха Таиланда, глав государств и членов делегаций, пассажиров бортов госучреждений, членов экипажей воздушных судов, детей до двух лет, транзитных пассажиров, а также некоторые другие группы.

В Минфине уточнили, что 1000 бат — это стартовая ставка: в будущем её могут увеличить до 5000 бат. Общественное обсуждение законопроекта проходит с 30 сентября по 29 октября.

Согласно данным сервиса, средняя продолжительность осенней поездки составляет 2,4 дня, а стоимость одних суток проживания — 10,7 тысячи рублей.

Портрет загородного туриста в 2026 году заметно изменился. Парный отдых по‑прежнему лидирует, но его доля снизилась — с 57 % до 45 %. При этом существенно выросла популярность соло‑путешествий: сейчас на них приходится 23 % бронирований. Кроме того, россияне всё чаще отправляются на природу в составе компаний или семей.

Главным открытием осеннего сезона стали парк‑отели и коттеджи. На парк‑отели пришлось 29,5 % всех загородных бронирований, на коттеджи — 11,8 %.

The 415-kilometer railway was conceived by the Japanese to supply their troops in Burma to bypass dangerous sea lanes after defeats in the Battles of Coral Sea and Midway in 1942. The most famous section of this road is north of Kanchanaburi, and today I’ll tell you how to get to Hell’s Pass by yourself.

This railway, known as the Death Railway, was built by 200,000 Asian workers and 60,000 Allied prisoners of war. The first group of prisoners, known as the D Force, consisted mostly of Australians, New Zealanders and Britons from Singapore. The Hell Pass is located about 260 kilometers northwest of Bangkok. To get there, we took a train at 07:50 from Tonburi Station in Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, the nearest major city.

The easiest way to visit Hell's Pass

Today, the trains to Hell's Pass no longer run. Most of the tracks have been dismantled, and the last stop is 18 kilometers away at Namtok. It is best to start your journey from Kanchanaburi and stop there.

How to get to Kanchanaburi from Bangkok

In the late 1990s, a small but impressive museum was opened here, initiated by Australian Major Tom Morris. A free audio guide will take you through the museum and on to a cleaned section of the 2.5-kilometer-long railway, including the Hell Pass itself. The museum is open from 9:00 to 16:00, admission is free, but donations are welcome.

Walking route on the Death Railway

We started our trek from the end of the trail, which used to stretch for 7 kilometers, but is now only available for 2.5 kilometers. The heat, humidity and mosquitoes make the journey difficult, but it's worth it. We passed through the “Seven-meter embankment”, “Hammer and Blade Pass”, “Hintok Cut” and “Three-meter Bridge”, enjoying the view of the Kwai Noi Valley.

"Hell's Pass" - Koniu

And here we are. "Hell's Pass" is a length of 600 meters, cut almost by hand. There is a memorial in honor of those who suffered and died here. Among the most famous prisoners was Sir Edward "Weary" Dunlop, a physician and prisoner of war leader. His ashes were scattered here on April 25, 1994, Anzac Day.

The brown bear is the national symbol of Finland. For centuries, it was both an object of worship and fear for the locals. In Finnish, there are over 200 names for this beast, which is the largest predator in Europe. In winter, bears hibernate, hiding in their lairs since September and waking up only by March-May. Although bears can be found throughout Finland (except the Åland Islands), their population is highest in Eastern Finland and Lapland. This is where you can make a real bear hunt!

How to organize a trip

The easiest way to see bears is to spend the night in a specially equipped house or shelter in Eastern Finland. This is a unique opportunity to get closer to nature and observe these beautiful animals in their natural environment.

Where to find bears?

According to the latest data, about 2,300 bears lived in Finland in 2020. Although sometimes spotted in the south and west of the country, they are most commonly found in Lapland and Eastern Finland.

Finland has two main bear tour destinations: the Martinselkonen Wildlife Center in Kainuu and the Brown Bear Center in Kuhmo, just 2 kilometers from the Russian border. When is the best time?

The best time to watch bears is from April to October, especially in the evening hours. Summer in Finland almost does not get dark, and spending the night in a shelter or a special house is not only safe, but also incredibly exciting.

Our experience.

We chose a full night tour from 17:00 to morning. Although the bear only appeared around midnight, we did not regret our decision.

What is the probability of seeing a bear?

In both centers - Martinselkonen and Kuhmo - bait is placed next to shelters and houses, which makes meeting with bears almost guaranteed. Depending on the time of year, the probability of seeing them is up to 99%.

What does the Brown Bear Center offer?

The center in Kuhmo offers various options for watching bears. It is a professional organization that is mainly focused on wildlife photographers and researchers. We just stopped for one night. This is a private protected area that has existed since 2016.

Our route.

We arrived at the Center after going to Koli National Park. Here we spent one night before heading further north to Sweden for an excursion to the LKAB mine in Kiruna.

Facilities and food

We chose the option with dinner and breakfast. The dinner consisted of salmon and vegetables, and for dessert we were offered something sweet. In the morning we enjoyed a hearty breakfast before heading out.

Where to stay?

Bears are nocturnal, so if you want to see them, you have to adjust to their rhythm. You can spend the night in a shelter or a house, and in the afternoon relax in the guest house of the Center.

The three-sided stone mound is a unique place where borders converge. Finland. Sweden and Norway.

These points are called trippoints, and there are 175 of them in the world. But this mound is special - it is the northernmost trippoint on the planet! During our trip to Northern Europe, we could not miss this landmark and decided to go to it. It turned out that you can get to the mound in different ways, and I will tell you how to do it, and also share our experience of traveling from Finland.

Our northern adventure began in Helsinki. We drove through Kohli National Park, enjoyed watching the bears and crossed the Arctic Circle, which was an unforgettable moment. Then we went to the northernmost city of Sweden – Kiruna, where we visited an amazing excursion to the LKAB mine. And now we're back in Finland and we're on our way to the point where the borders of the three countries converge, the northernmost trippoint in the world.

What is a three-sided stone mound?

This is the place where the borders of Finland, Sweden and Norway meet at 69° north latitude, at an altitude of 490 meters above sea level. Nearby there is another trippoint - on the border of Norway, Russia and Finland, but it is 900 meters south and is strictly guarded. If you want to move freely between borders, go to this mound.

The first mound here was built in 1897 by Russians and Norwegians. Sweden was not involved in the construction because of the border dispute with Norway. In 1901, the conflict was settled and a new mound was created, but due to poor construction and harsh winters, it collapsed. The modern mound dates from 1926 and marks the borders between the three countries.

The mound is a yellow concrete structure with a height of 4 meters, located in Lake Goldajärvi. Wooden flooring leads to it, but be prepared for the fact that depending on the water level, you can soak your feet.

Lake Goldajärvi (also known as Koltäjärvi in Finnish and Golldajävri in Sami) is a unique bifurcation lake, the water from which flows in two different directions: to Lake Kilpisjärvi and to the Norwegian Sea via Ljungenfjord.

How to get to the Tripartite mound?

The easiest and most popular way is to go from the village of Kilpisjärvi in Finland. In the summer you can take the boat M/S Malla, which will take you to the beginning of the hiking trail. The boat goes about 45 minutes, and then you will have a 3-kilometer walk to the mound.

If you prefer walking, you can go from Norway. To do this, you need to get to the parking lot on the E8 highway, from where the trail begins through the Malla Reserve. The route is 11 kilometers and passes through a picturesque area.

Practical tips for visiting:

The boat M/S Malla runs from mid-summer to late September. Tickets are purchased on board and reservations are not available.

How to get to Porvoo
Helsinki to Porvoo can be reached in just 40 minutes by car or bus. This is the most convenient way to get to the city.

1. Porvoo Old Station

Imagine a 250-kilometer-long route that runs through picturesque islands, bridges and 8 ferries. This is the Archipelago route toFinland A unique adventure that has captured the hearts of travelers for more than 25 years. It can be passed by car, bicycle or motorcycle, but one thing is for sure: it is worth doing.

The route is available from late spring to early autumn and runs along the roads connecting the islands. We chose a road trip, as there was not enough time to cycle, and in one day we managed to enjoy the beauty of the archipelago, starting from Turku. And it was incredible!

Why choose the Archipelago route?

It is the largest archipelago in the world, with 40,000 islands and islets (but don’t worry, you’ll only visit a fraction of them). There is also a shorter option, the 120-kilometer Small Archipelago Route, but today we will focus on the main route.

How do I get there?

The beginning and end of the route is in Turku, Finland’s oldest city. If you are flying to Helsinki, Turku can be reached in 1 hour and 45 minutes by train or rent a car directly at the airport. We chose a night ferry from Stockholm to Turku, which added romance to our journey.

Travel tips:

1. Rent a car in advance. This is the best way to explore the archipelago.
2. Download offline maps, although the signal is usually good.
3. Book your accommodation in advance, especially if you plan a day trip.

Ferries on the route:

Most ferries are free and operate on schedule or on request. The only paid ferry is from Houtskyar to Iniyo. We opted for a counterclockwise motion to avoid missing this ferry, as it only runs 5 times a day.

When to go?

It is best to avoid weekends, especially in summer, when locals go to their dachas.

Road conditions:

The roads are quiet and the speed is controlled by cameras. Take your time - enjoy the scenery and catch the next ferry, if you did not have time for the previous one.

Council: If you want to delve deeper into the history and culture of the archipelago, bring a local guide with you. They will tell you a lot of interesting facts that will make your trip even more exciting.
