The village Sahurta is located at the bay of Olhon gate, separating the Olhon island from the continent. The population is 224 people. (2010) Sahurta is a buriat word meaning pieces of flint, this is the place to deposit this stone. There is a ferry boat from here to Olhon island. It is 250 km from Irkutsk.
