*Отголоски прошлого на улицах города*
Начнётся экскурсия у гостиницы Калининград, откуда мы свернем с шумной современной дороги на тихую улочку, где в тени деревьев притаился музей Бункер. Именно в этом бункере свершилась когда-то судьба Кенигсберга, и был подписан акт о капитуляции.
Оттуда, с рассказом о древних Пруссах, населявших эти земли, мы пройдем к чудесному Нижнему Озеру, дошедшему до наших дней со времен рыцарей Тевтонского Ордена.
Прогулка вдоль озера приведет нас на возвышенность, где когда-то находилось самое сердце Кёнигсберга и всей Восточной Пруссии — Королевский замок! Он был построен на месте старого языческого поселения в 13 веке, «прожил» более 700 лет и исчез с лица земли в 1969 году. В замке в разное время правили тевтонские рыцари, отдыхали прусские короли, Петр I вел светские беседы и обычные жители любили выпить вина в подвалах бывших пыточных камер. Сейчас от замка остался лишь древний фундамент. А возле него стоит «чудо» советской архитектурной мысли, печально известный в Калининграде недострой — Дом Советов, который должен был затмить замок своим величием, но также канул в бездну времени. О таких сооружениях, напоминающих о былых эпохах, мы и поговорим, знакомясь с городом и его историей.

От Дома Советов мы прогуляемся в современный центр города — на Остров Кнайпхов, или на остров Канта. Вашему взору предстанет средневековый Кафедральный собор, чудом уцелевший во время военных бомбёжек. Его стены хранят прах и воспоминания жителей города, в нём каждый день звучит самый большой в Европе орган, в нём когда-то давал присягу в верности Елизавете Петровне выдающийся философ Иммануил Кант, и в нём же он нашел свой покой. Прочувствовав атмосферу этого завораживающего и умиротворяющего места, вы окажетесь в людной Рыбной деревне. И там, на фоне сказочных домиков, янтарных магазинов, уютных ресторанов и красивейших видов, вы ощутите ритм Калининграда наших дней, где из-за каждого угла всё равно виднеется многослойное культурное наследие.

*Echoes of the past on the streets of the city*
The tour starts by the Kaliningrad Hotel, where we will turn from the noisy modern road to a quiet street to the Bunker Museum, hidden in the shadow of the trees. That is the place where the fate of Koenigsberg has happened, and the act of capitulation was signed.
Then, with a story about the ancient Prussian people who inhabited these lands, we will go to the wonderful Lower Pond, who has survived to the present day since the times of the knights of the Teutonic Order.
A walk along the Pond will lead us to the hill where the heart of Königsberg and all of East Prussia once was - the Royal Castle! It was built on the site of an old pagan settlement in the 13th century, "lived" for more than 700 years and disappeared from the face of the Earth in 1969. The Teutonic knights ruled at the castle at different times, Prussian kings rested ther, Peter I conducted small talks, and ordinary people liked to drink wine in the cellars of the former torture chambers. Now only the ancient foundation remains from the castle. And next to it stands the “miracle” of Soviet architectural engineering, the unfortunate unfinished building in Kaliningrad - the House of Soviets, which was supposed to outshine the castle with its grandeur, but also sunk into the abyss of time.

From the House of Soviets we will walk in the modern city center - on the island of Kneiphoа, or on the Kant'sisland. You will see a medieval Cathedral, miraculously survived during WW II bombings. Its walls preserve the bones and the memories of the inhabitants of the city. Every day the largest organ in Europe sounds in it. Once people there gave an oath of allegiance to russian queen Elizabeth Petrovna. The prominent philosopher Immanuel Kant found his peace there. Feeling the atmosphere of this fascinating and pacifying place, you will find yourself in a crowded Fish Village. And there, against the background of fabulous houses, amber shops, cozy restaurants and beautiful views, you will feel the rhythm of Kaliningrad today, where from every angle you can still see the multi-layered cultural heritage.
