Pitsunda is a compact seaside town in Abkhazia with a rich history and a unique resort atmosphere. Relict pine groves, mild climate and warm Black Sea create a special mood: the combination of a calm beach holiday and the proximity of mountain landscapes makes the city unlike the usual resorts.
Man-made sights of Pitsunda tell about the centuries-old past of the region: the Patriarchal Cathedral of the X century, a cozy embankment with walking alleys and the central beach, the monument to A.
