Día de los empleados del MOEOn December 9, 2006, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev issued an order in which he decided to annually celebrate December 16 as a professional holiday for employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On August 28, 2007, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree confirming the provisions on the uniform of military clothing of servicemen of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on the uniform of employees with special ranks and on distinct signs.
