Documents for the old passport
Today, citizens of the Russian Federation have the opportunity to obtain one of two types of passport: an old document or a new document.
Adult citizens of the Russian Federation submit the following documents for issuing an old passport:
- application (2 copies), appendix to the application, appendix of information about changes in personal data, appendix of information about children
- passport
- receipt of payment of the state duty (1000 rubles)
- three pictures
- male persons (aged 18 to 27 years), present a military card with a mark of completion of military service on conscription, or a certificate from the military commissariat
- Command permission (only for military personnel)
- petition of the organization sending the citizen outside the Russian Federation
- previously issued passport (if any)
Documents for the old passport, namely, the application, can be considered urgently - within three working days. For urgent consideration of the application, one of the following documents is submitted:
- a letter from the health authority confirming the need for an urgent trip for treatment outside Russia
- A letter from a foreign medical organization about the need for emergency treatment
- telegraphic message received from outside the territory of the Russian Federation and certified in accordance with the legislation of the state of residence (stay), confirming the fact of serious illness or death of a close relative or spouse.
- previously issued passport, if available and its validity has not expired
Documents for an old passport, which are submitted by persons aged 14 to 18 years:
- statement (1 copy)
- passport
- documents confirming the rights of the legal representative (birth certificate of a minor citizen, act of the guardianship and guardianship authority appointing a guardian or trustee)
- two pictures
- receipt for payment of state duty (1000 rubles)
- passport (new generation passport), if available and its validity has not expired
Documents for an old passport issued for children under 14 years of age:
- statement (1 copy)
- birth certificate
- documents confirming the rights of the legal representative (birth certificate of a minor, act of the guardianship and guardianship authority on the appointment of a guardian or trustee)
- identification document of the legal representative
- document certifying the presence of Russian citizenship of a minor citizen
- receipt of payment of state duty (300 rubles)
- two pictures
- passport (new generation passport), if available and its validity has not expired
