Aromatherapy ≠ benefits
Aromatherapy. What do we know about her? And we know that aromatherapy is an extremely useful thing, just the word "therapy" already commands respect in us. With the help of essential oils, all diseases and ailments that have tormented the human race for thousands of years are treated. And skin diseases, and respiratory, and gastrointestinal, and many others are afraid of a smelly panacea, like a tax oligarch.
Essential oils can be inhaled, spread on the skin, hair and nails, drink and pour them on your mortal bodies in order to make our body healthy and strong. But with all due respect to aromatherapy, ancient healers and Chinese healers (and it was they who invented to treat their fellow tribesmen with these potions), I cannot but note a very regrettable fact. Real essential oils that heal the spirit and body, in our country is extremely small. And the ones that are worth fabulous money. Almost all products of this kind are lucky because of the bumper. For its preparation, kilograms or even tons of raw materials are needed: flower petals, bark, fruits or plant roots.
As for the consequences of using low-quality ether, the most harmless of them are skin burns, and I do not even want to talk about the most serious ones.
We all know the movie “Perfume” and, imagining, a way to get ether from the same rose. The same picture stands before our eyes. Jean-Baptiste Grenouille throws into the steam engine, like embers into the furnace of a steam locomotive, rose petals, which look like several tons. And a few drops of essential oil at the end is all you can get from so many flowers. And it's not a metaphor. Any person, based on the above fact, can calculate the approximate cost of this essential oil of roses.
According to experts, 1 ml of rose oil costs an average of 1000 rubles. Now, attention! Question! What is in a bottle labeled “100% essential oil of a rose”, if the cost of such a bottle for 15 ml is 60 rubles? Such oil can not even be smelled, let alone applied to the skin.
In order to protect yourself and your loved ones from low-quality “smell” you need to adhere to the following rules:
(1) the oil must smell natural. No synthetic smells like vanilla ice cream should irritate your nose
(2) the consistency of the oil shall be uniform. No sediment, no clouding or worse.
(3) if the oil is very cheap, this is a sure sign of forgery. But expensive oil does not mean the best.
(4) read the label carefully. It must contain 100% essential oil (in any language). Beware of the words “restored”, “synthesized”, “green”. There should be no advertising.
(5) And the most famous butter test. If you drop a little oil on a simple white piece of paper, then good oil should evaporate without delay in a day. In rare cases, the oil leaves a small colored speck or a subtle, subtle aroma.
(6) And more. Before you go to the store for essential oil, ask your friends, friends, read blogs and forums. Store information about manufacturers with the same care if you chose a family doctor.
And remember, everything is useful in moderation! Do not trust any potty bottle and do not abuse this natural medicine.
