Closer to the Arctic Circle
In early March, residents of Tatarstan will go in search of deer. A trip to the northern capital will give tourists a chance to admire the beauty of Yamal - the excursion program will plunge into the past and present regions, introduce you to the features of this direction.
Thanks to a trip to the village of real reindeer herders, you can see the culture of nomadic peoples of the Far North. The program promises to be very interesting and exciting.
The Arctic Circle divides people into two types, for some it is a mysterious dream, and for others it is quite ordinary and real.
Scientifically speaking, the Arctic Circle is a place where the polar day and night, solar eclipse and other natural anomalies are usually observed. There, the sun does not set at all only on the longest day of the year, June 21-22, and does not rise from December 21-22.
There is an opinion that the further away to the north, the longer the polar day and night will be. Going on a tour only to capture yourself at the sign of the “polar circle” does not make sense. What really matters is the impact this place has on the world. That is why this excursion with the crossing of the Arctic Circle is commensurate with a visit to one of the wonders of the world. Tourists carefully prepare for the trip, thinking through every detail.
In Kazan, at a meeting with the media and representatives of local travel agencies, the general director of Discover Yamal LLC, Zelfira Makhmutova, shared that now tourists have an amazing chance to visit the Arctic Circle and get acquainted with the beauty of the vast nature of the Yamal district. The presentation of the program of the first round took place on February 19.
The first group of tourists will start their trip in early March. Tourists will be able to go to the Arctic Circle thanks to the daily flight Kazan-Salekhard, the journey time is 4 hours and 15 minutes. The cost of a four-day trip will be 19,900 rubles per person, the price is available for residents of Kazan and Moscow. The ticket price includes flight, hotel accommodation, transfers, guide services and much more.

Travelers are waiting for fascinating excursions to Salekhard; a trip to the tundra together with a visit and overnight in the traditional plague; acquaintance with the life and traditions of the indigenous people of the vast North. In addition, tourists will have an amazing opportunity to see reindeer firsthand, which can be fed by hand and visit the cultural center of Yamal, Obdor Forest. Also, tourists will go on an excursion to the Yamal Museum named after I.S. Shemanovsky, where they will be waiting for the famous exhibit - mammoth Lyuba.
Representatives of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia visited the route to make a preliminary assessment of the tourist project. According to them, this tour is something amazing and incredible, at the same time - for a very attractive amount.
Yamal, the pearl of Russia, which over time risks overshadowing many noble and affordable tourist destinations. The difference between Yamal is that every month the weather here sets records, natural anomalies often occur, which even more impresses the eye of the traveler and the layman and gives nature a certain charm.
Moreover, it is also a place for new culinary discoveries. Here, tourists have the opportunity to taste the most delicious delicacy meat, purchase as a gift chic clothes sewn by natives from deer skins, which will later warm its owners, and remind of an unforgettable journey for a long time.
Experts predict that tours to the “Edge of a Thousand Deer” may attract foreign tourists. Guests from abroad will be able to taste and appreciate exotic dishes, as well as, if lucky, watch the aurora.
Tourists are waiting for personalized certificates at the intersection of the Arctic Circle, from which the route of the Yamal tourist project begins. The edge of a thousand deer.
