Despite the diligently working plants near them, such as ChMZ, Zinc Plant, Chelyabmetmash, ChTZ and others, almost every day “enriching” the air above the heads of citizens with waste from their production.

 

Despite this, in Chelyabinsk, as in the whole region, everywhere you look, there is beautiful nature around. There are still charming and untouched by civilization places - forests, steppes, about 3000 lakes and 360 rivers, which are the hallmark of both Chelyabinsk and the Chelyabinsk region, along with the Ural Range, passing through its territory.

 

But, despite all this beauty, so attracts tourists, the air in the administrative center of the Chelyabinsk region is slightly different from that outside. Although it can not be called virginally clean, but it is still possible to breathe it. In any case, the Chelyabinsk people do it perfectly.

 

If on a windy day the level of harmful substances in the air is approaching normal, then clear weather and especially in the calm of a hot summer day you can feel a slight smell of chemicals. Oxygen with an admixture of exhaust gases is not much, but about 320,000 cars per 1,100,000 people.

 

 

In terms of air pollution, our city surpassed Detroit (USA), and most recently in late September in the Chelyabinsk sky was recorded the release of a substance not quite useful for humans - the radioactive isotope Ru-106. Such a sensational, as it may seem at first glance, news, for an ordinary Chelyabinsk man is not news for a long time.

 

A philosopher once said that today is your last day. On the other hand, perhaps this is one of the reasons for the good mood of Chelyabinsk. They just don't have time to be sad. The millionaire city is setting its pace. And as another wise philosopher said, whatever you do, you should try to do it with pleasure.

 

And this pleasure in Chelyabinsk can be found everywhere. Starting with a trip in the early morning by bus. Back-up police officers for Chelyabinsk drivers are not in authority. And for the chauffeurs of the Chelyabinsk minibuses, they also do not pose special obstacles. This is where you can see this severity. At rush hour in the morning, minibuses generally do not move as fast as they go. And ordinary citizens try to occupy themselves with something: they read, play games on the phone, solve crossword puzzles, listen to music, and, of course, sleep. And at the moment when the minibus, without slowing down, passes through the poor policeman, all the passengers cheerfully jump up in their seats, and, shaken, lively go on.

 

Nothing brings people together like public transportation. When you get to your stop and get out of a well-stocked minibus, you can’t help but enjoying some sense of freedom. And the most suitable track in headphones than Kipelov “I am free”, for this moment not to pick up.

The full rotation of the Ferris wheel of the RC "Megapolis" lasts about 10 minutes, and all this time is accompanied by such comfort that the average person who visited this place for the first time will not want to go out.

 

At an altitude of 73 meters, a magnificent view of the panorama of the rapidly developing city will not remain unimpressed in memory and photos. From the highest point of the Ferris wheel, the whole of Chelyabinsk appears as if in the palm of your hand. And passengers sit on comfortable benches inside a heated cabin with air conditioning, and from a bird's eye view in the distance you can see the dome of the building of the Chelyabinsk circus, which is famous for its concert program.

 

 

In the circus arena you can see the breathtaking numbers of gymnasts and gymnasts, a spectacular clown program, clever jugglers, fearless tiger tamers, and, of course, the royal tigers themselves, the presentation of which must be visited by every connoisseur of circus art!

 

If you look even further, then through the city smog from cars you can see the Chelyabinsk zoo, whose inhabitants since 1996 live in peace and harmony in excellent conditions and on a convenient territory.

 

 

Here you can see polar bears, grizzly bears, kings of nature - lions, tigers, bison, a family of chimpanzees, say hello to incredulously looking camels, as if aiming at you with their spit through the fence; see a wolf pack, snow leopard, lemur and other animals. And in the aquarium, admire many fish, including piranhas, sharks, fish - a surgeon and other outlandish representatives of their species.

 

When you get out of the Ferris wheel of the RC "Megapolis", you are likely to feel a surge of strength and mood from overwhelming you with positive emotions. To walk around the city, you do not need to go far, the good of places for such a pastime in Chelyabinsk abound.

 

Not far from the RC "Megapolis" is the Chelyabinsk Arbat, a walk along which will definitely leave a pleasant impression. On this long street, you can listen to street musicians, talk on cozy benches, next to the sculptures frozen on them; look at the 22-storey building of the Chelyabinsk City business center, and, of course, go to one of the themed bars.

 

Summing up the line, it is safe to say that Chelyabinsk is not just a large and rapidly developing city, but also surprisingly diverse. And the residents are not even harsh. And if severe, it is so that they are not afraid of any factories, with such persistence, poisoning their health.
