Flowering of Altai maral (Altai sakura)
Maralnik is a typical Altai shrub, which during flowering resembles Japanese sakura due to the bright purple-pink veil on the hillsides. Flowering lasts only a few days in April-May, but the most stable period is from 1 to 10 May. In the lowlands and valleys it starts earlier, and in the mountains and passes it is late.
The heart freezes from the species of shrub imitating Japanese sakura: flowering in April-May lasts 3-7 days, earlier in the valleys, later in the mountains of the Chui tract. A magic that cannot be missed!

Blooming of tulips of Kalmykia (wild steppe tulips)
Steppe tulips turn the Kalmyk plains into a bright red sea. This rare spectacle lasts 7-10 days, ideally from April 20 to May 5 (depending on the weather). Flowers are red, yellow, pink, white.
Other regions: tulips are found in Orenburg, Stavropol Territory, Rostov and Astrakhan regionsBut mass flowering is only in Kalmykia.

Lotus blooms in the Volga Delta
Giant pink lotuses cover the water area of the Volga River Delta with a continuous carpet. The peak of flowering falls on July 20 - August 10, lasts about 3 weeks. The most picturesque places. Astrakhan Reserve and Lake Baskunchak.

Flowering of snowdrops Russia (first spring flowers)
In Russia, snowdrops are one of the first heralds of spring, their flowering does not last long and requires accurate travel planning. These delicate white flowers appear from under the snow in deciduous forests and on the southern slopes, creating picturesque carpets.
Best regions and terms of Crimea (SBC): from late January to March-April.
The earliest are the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, the slopes of Ai-Petri, Ayu-Dag, the Botkin Trail and the Grushevaya glade. Peak in February in warm weather. The Caucasus and Krasnodar Territory: early March Look in kislovodsk (Resort Park), on Mount Beshtau, the trail Bernardazzi and in Adygea (the gorge of the White River).
