It is interesting that our girls prefer to get acquainted not with Petya and Vasya, but with Johns and Bills. Yes, foreign men are in great demand among Russian women. Some even go abroad to their overseas prince and start families. A foreign husband is, of course, great, but how not to lose? What are the dangers of Russian girls in “foreign” territory? What's wrong with a foreign husband?
It is good if you and your foreign husband stay in Russia. That way you'll be more protected. But if your husband is determined to take you to his homeland, be patient, because you will have to get used to the peculiarities of his culture. The difference in mentality is serious. This is the first disadvantage of a foreign husband: he was brought up under different laws, he has a different concept of life, family and a woman’s place in it. Take, for example, a Muslim man. He strictly observes the traditions of his culture, and sooner or later you will have to obey him and accept his faith. The longer you live together, the more the Muslim husband will put pressure on you. In the family, he is in charge, and you are just a weak woman and must submit to unyielding male strength. First of all, your husband will forbid you to wear short dresses, skirts, open sweaters; in time you will wear a headscarf, and even worse, a burqa, and everyone will see only your beautiful but sad eyes. It is good if it does not end with three new wives, because Russian women are not used to sharing their man with anyone.
The Muslims were dealt with. Now let's talk about a European husband. In marriage with such a man, you can also find disadvantages. Europeans are very calculating. Their material interests are above their feelings of love for their Russian wife. The wife for such a man is primarily a partner in creating and maintaining the family budget. Don’t think that after you and your husband go to the States, he will support you, pay for language courses, etc. At first, he won’t go anywhere, but then the European husband will start to irritate your “parasitism”. There will be quarrels at the domestic level, and in order to avoid male anger, you will have to use all your strength to settle in a foreign country. It could take three or four years. And no one promises that they will pass quietly and calmly. How many stressful situations do women go through before getting their place under the American sun?
Life is different, but no one is immune to mistakes. Therefore, before choosing whether to marry a foreigner or not, it is better to weigh the pros and cons. What if there is more against it?!
