Paradise corners of the planet, about which few people know
Pitcairn Islands
They are located in the Pacific Ocean and belong to the United Kingdom. Of the five islands, only one is inhabited - Pitcairn Island with a population of 44-56 people (Interestingly, the population of Pitcairn has such benefits of civilization as radio and telephony). The rest: Henderson, Ducey, Sandy and Oeno are completely undeveloped by man, primitive pieces of land in the ocean. The reason for this is the lack of fresh water. The exception is Henderson, by the way, the largest of this complex of islands (its area is approximately 37 square kilometers). This island is uninhabited due to the unsuitability of its soil for agriculture. Most of its coast is surrounded by a coral reef, the island has three beaches, the rest is a typical jungle. On the north side there is a freshwater spring in the cave. It found human skeletons, whose age, according to archaeological data, hardly exceeds 7 centuries. Who these people were and why they disappeared from the island is still a mystery. They also left behind mysterious petroglyphs on the walls of the surrounding rocks, earthen furnaces, stone tools and other devices. Also an obstacle to visiting the islands is their considerable distance from civilization. Ducey is located almost 500 km from Pitcairn Island, the remaining islands are located about 150 km from it.
The island complex has very rich flora and fauna. Here nest dozens of species of birds, grow hundreds of species of various plants, some of which exist only within its limits. Also on the beaches of uninhabited islands, sea turtles periodically climb out to lay eggs. The climate on the islands is paradise: it is always sunny and the temperature ranges from +17 degrees Celsius in winter to +25 in summer.

Guafo
If you’re a fan of The Island of the Damned, this is the place for you! The island of Guafo is completely forested, mountainous and hilly. The abundance of diverse fish makes it a paradise for the fisherman. The prevailing westerly winds and location make the island an exceptionally rainy, rugged place. In summer, about two million birds of the Grey Petrel species flock to Guafo. The island is located southwest of Chloe Island and northwest of the Chonos Archipelago, Chile and has an area of about 300 square kilometers. Only 4 lighthouse keepers live here permanently. Tourists almost never visit this place, and you will hardly find more than a dozen photos of the island itself and any detailed information about it. Intriguing, isn't it?

Motuo County, Tibet, China
Motuo County is one of the most inaccessible places in the world, so civilization has not touched it. Snow-capped mountains seem to ring this place, so it is so difficult to get there. Besides, the path lies through the Himalayan permafrost. In Tibetan, motuo means hidden lotus. This part of the country is considered sacred. You can get there only by crossing the suspension bridge, as all attempts to build the road failed due to severe weather conditions.
Having reached the cherished "lotus" for all the sufferings and hardships, brave travelers are awarded with fabulous views and smells of alpine meadows; besides, there is a great chance to see one of the inhabitants of the holy places: there live magnificent irbis (a kind of snow leopards), nahurs, who are popularly called "blue sheep" because of the peculiar shade of wool, magnificent Himalayan containers - mountain goats with a characteristic collar of long soft wool, and an amazingly similar animal to the size of a mammalian horse.

Rocky Pond
This picturesque lake is located on the territory of the island belonging to the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Canada in these places is almost not inhabited, as a result of which nature appears before the eye of the traveler in its original form. It is replete with evergreen coniferous forests, mountains and hills, deep lakes and rivers that are full of fish. Nowhere else on the globe is the air so clean and fresh as on the shores of the Canadian lakes.
Going on a trip, prepare yourself for the fact that you will not be lucky to sunbathe on the beaches, since the climate here is quite severe. Especially in winter, when temperatures mostly fluctuate between -17 and -24 degrees Celsius; the warmest August days are sometimes +15.
Buvuma Island
If you still dreary and afraid to be away from civilization, but want to immerse yourself in an unusual world in which you are waiting for a lot of discoveries, then this place is for you!
The island of Buvuma is located in central Africa, a few kilometers from the northern shore of Lake Vicroria. This is one of the main attractions of Jinji, attracting the picturesqueness of its landscapes and the richest variety of flora and fauna of many wildlife lovers.
Also as a result of archaeological excavations, pottery products created several millennia BC were discovered here! The island is replete with many cave formations. The deepest of them are the Tonge and Nikishito caves.

The territory of the island is huge - about 517 km.2.. The size of the local population can be equated with the size of a small town like Rostov – about 25 thousand people living in several villages. Most residents do not speak English, so if you are going to visit Buvuma, bring a dictionary of their sonorous national language Swahili.
There is always a place for discovery in our lives, so wherever you decide to go, you will find something new and unusual for yourself. Even if you don’t have the money for flights and long-term travel, take a weekend trip out of town, somewhere you haven’t been before. And if you are planning a great adventure, save some money and make your dream a reality!
