The Montreux Jazz Festival 2010

Founded in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has over time become one of the most important musical events to miss! During the 44th festival from 1 to 17 July 2010, a huge number of amateurs and professionals from all over the world will burst into Montreux, Switzerland. There's enough music here for every taste. Historically, the basis of the event was jazz music, but over time, the festival included other different musical styles and trends: rock, indie, pop, hip-hop, lounge, dance, house, disco, funk.

 

On the stage of the festival this year, as always, there are many stars, including: Nora Jones, Charlotte Ginsburg, Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Gary Moore, Mark Knopfler, Simpley Red, Tori Amos, Erica Badu, Vanessa Paradis, Missy Elliott, Tricky, Massive Attack, .

 

The festival will host both paid and free concerts. So, in the park "Vernex" every evening there are musical evenings with free entrance, where there will be an opportunity to get acquainted with the work of young teams from Europe and America.
