Virtual tour of the "Euro Resort" in Russia. Extreme Sochi

This year, Sochi breaks all records for the number of vacationers. There is a legitimate question – for what reasons? I will try to answer this question myself. Perhaps it’s all about the sharp jump in the dollar, but having seen from my own experience, I can say that the holiday in Sochi is not much more budgetary than abroad.

So it's a whole other thing. What if people just decided to rest in their homeland, so to speak, to support the fatherland? Not a small role in this was played by the ban on entry to Egypt and Turkey – the most favorite Russian tourists resorts. But there are people who have enough money to continue to travel around the world, and they are closer to “get acquainted” with their native lands and prefer Russian resorts to foreign ones. The answer to this question can be searched endlessly, but my last article will be useful for both patriotic travelers and everyone else.

What do you think of when you hear the word “extreme”? Probably skydiving, mountain skiing or water sports. But the latter is just common in the summer among extremes. The most “harmless” entertainment can be considered “banana”, “pill” swimming in the open sea and an independent walk on a catamaran. You can enjoy it all right on the beach at your hotel or take a special excursion that will include all of the above entertainment.

For a long time I could not decide in which direction to include the following attraction. But since it has a bit of an extreme, it’s here. Back in the first article, I hinted at a mandatory visit to this place (“If you were in Sochi and did not visit Rosa Khutor, then consider that you were not in Sochi”). Yes, we are going to talk about the “Red glade”, about the place where you will fall in love. If you prefer to take tours in travel agencies, then I would advise you to go to the Rosa Khutor on your own. This is more profitable for you at times, as you just need to order a transfer (and this can be done right on the street, ask any taxi driver) and buy a ticket for the lift. As for the ticket - an adult costs 1300, a child's 800.

You can also enjoy the view from opening to closing. And there is really something to admire, it is impossible to describe in words how breathtaking it is when riding on a lift. Here, literally at eye level - the slopes of the mountains, dotted with flowers, and a little higher already snowy peaks. In order to fully immerse yourself in a state of harmony and experience new experiences, open booths are provided for tourists. Do you decide to ride in them - think for yourself, but I will notice that the movement is smooth, calm - all the conditions for a wonderful pastime.

The next place can be devoted to a separate article, but this is not allowed for my context, so I will describe briefly. Abkhazia is very close to Sochi, and it will not be difficult to get to the border. It is better to arrive at customs before 7 a.m., otherwise your whole trip will end without starting. Talk about the beauty of the local mountains is endless, Abkhazia wins the heart once and for all. Usually the tour includes a visit to the monastery, a honey apiary, a wine cellar, several waterfalls and the lake "Ritsa". The duration of the trip is about 12 hours.

Also in the list of places for extreme walks you can include a skypark – entertainment, common all over the world. For those who do not know “what it is and what it is eaten with”, I explain – a unique amusement park at a height, a complex consisting of a suspended pedestrian bridge and platforms for jumping (banji jumping). This adventure is not cheap – 3000 rubles, 500 rubles for children from 5 to 12 years and adults from 65 years.

No fan of Formula 1 will miss the opportunity to look at the legendary track, and if you still have courage and a tidy sum in your pocket, you can safely ride a race car (price: 6000-20000 rubles).

And concludes my list of extreme entertainment "Sochi Park". Well, this is pretty clear. To ride on attractions and get a new experience I want both adults and children. The cost of tickets: adult 2200 rubles, children 1850 rubles. One hour before closing, you can purchase a discounted ticket.

Now it is time to sum up my entire guidebook, I will do so briefly. Sochi is really a wonderful resort of European level, a vacation in which will not leave you indifferent. It is a universal city, if you can say so at all. It is suitable for any travel, extreme or quiet and calm. It does not matter the time spent on the trip, focus on quality, think about your trip, saturate it with pleasant moments, remember – it all depends on yourself.
