Day of Workers of the Pharmaceutical and Microbiological Industry of Belarus
Description:
In order to streamline public holidays, holidays and memorable dates celebrated in the Republic of Belarus, to ensure uniform approaches to their establishment and holding and in accordance with paragraph 18 of Article 84 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, I decide: to establish in recognition of the merits of employees of certain professions, branches of economy and fields of activity Day of Pharmaceutical and Microbiological Industry Workers - October 15.
In the Republic of Belarus, the pharmaceutical and microbiological industry is represented by the Belbiopharm concern, which includes 18 enterprises. Among them are 6 purely pharmaceutical plants - two in Minsk ("Belmedpreparaty" and "Dialek") and one each in Borisov, Nesvizh, Grodno (Skidel), Drogichina.
There are four microbiological enterprises, as well as various chemical production facilities and others that produce pharmaceutical products.
