Mir - Lyubcha - Novogrudok

Description:

Mir Castle, built in the early XVI century, is a true pearl of Belarusian architecture. At first, the former family estate of the counts of Ilyinich, by the second half of the century it became the property of the largest magnate family in Belarus - the Radziwills and became their summer residence. Just imagine the power of the family, for which Mir Castle was a “dacha”! Here they went hunting, balls and magnificent receptions were arranged. Of course, the castle has its own ghost - young Sonya Svyatopolk-Mirskaya, who died, not having had time to bloom, at the very beginning of the last century.

The world itself is equally interesting. The synagogue courtyard is almost entirely preserved – here, in the World, one of the largest Yeshiboths (Jewish higher school) of the world operated! And then in the XVIII century lived the gypsy king Jan Martinkiewicz.

The history of Ljubchansky Castle, the capital of Grand Duke Mindovga, is diverse and exciting. But it attracts not by this, but by the fact that it is the only object in the republic that is fully restored by public funds and social forces. Volunteers come here, scientists develop projects in their spare time. And you will also be able to take part in restoring the pride of Belarusian defense architecture – a unique opportunity that will never be presented to you anywhere else, either here or abroad!

Novogrudok is the first capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, our powerful state from sea to sea. About those times still remember the majestic ruins of the Novogrudok castle. From the high-rise castle ramparts there is a view of the church, in which the king of Poland and the Grand Duke of Lithuania Jagiello married Princess Sophia Golshanskaya, the founders of the Jagiellon dynasty. And, of course, Novogrudok is the city of Adam Mickiewicz, the greatest poet of ancient Lithuania.

Lake Svityaz was sung by Mickiewicz in many poems and poems. It is known to zoologists and botanists for its rare species. But the main thing in it is its exceptional beauty and purity, which is so convenient to admire from the coastal gazebos.
