Aeroflot tightens rules for hand luggage
Passengers will be able to take on board one package with purchases purchased in the duty free store, and the weight of the backpack, which was previously without restrictions, should not be more than 5 kg and 80 cm in the sum of three measurements.
Aeroflot says that it does not make the rules more complicated, but brings the company’s standards in line with federal aviation requirements, which were supplemented in 2017. “Aeroflot” explains the innovations “not only comfort issues, but also safety during the flight.”
From the list of items that can be carried to the load of hand luggage, mobile phones, laptops, cameras, cameras, umbrellas, folders for papers, printed publications are excluded - they are added to the total weight of hand luggage: economy class - 10 kg, business class - 15 kg.
Supplements and restrictions in size and weight will not affect the transportation of a portfolio / women's handbag, outerwear / suit in a portfolio and a floral bouquet. For baby food and systems for carrying a child weighing no more than 7 kg and sizes no more than 42x50x20 cm, medicines, crutches, canes, walkers, rollers, folding wheelchair additional payments will not be required.
When processing baggage before the flight, passengers will have to weigh a baby cradle and stroller, as well as hand luggage.
