Aeroflot began selling premium tickets with discounts on certain routes
Aeroflot conducts a short discount promotion for the sale of Aeroflot Bonus premium tickets on selected destinations. On several routes, it will take about a third fewer miles than usual to issue a premium ticket.
For example, you can buy a round trip ticket from Moscow to Saratov for 15 thousand miles (business class - 22 thousand), in Aktau and Karaganda - for 15 (30), in Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf - for 18 (30), in Barnaul - for 22 (38), in Yakutsk - for 42 (65), in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City - for 42 (85, premium economy class - 65). For 18 (30) thousand miles you can fly from Kazan to Frankfurt, as well as from St. Petersburg to Chelyabinsk, Berlin and Tivat, for 15 (22) - from St. Petersburg to Ufa and Krasnodar. It is necessary to pay fees, their size in economy class on direct routes within Russia is about 3.3-3.4 thousand rubles, on short foreign routes about 7 thousand (in the CIS countries - several times less), on long-distance routes - about 15 thousand. On flights with transfer fees are higher, and in business class - twice higher than usual.
Discounts for premium tickets are valid only until July 24 and only on the company’s website, flights on them are possible from August 20 to November 20. The minimum stay at the destination is 24 hours, the maximum is one month. The return of miles to the account and the exchange of tickets is not provided, fees cannot be returned.
Since March 2017, Aeroflot has reduced the price of premium tickets in one direction. This could lead to increased demand for premium tickets and the success of Aeroflot Bonus.
When buying any tickets on the Aeroflot website, you need to remember that the airline by default includes insurance in the ticket. This practice is prohibited in the EU countries, it can lead to the loss of 300 rubles on each ticket. In the process of purchasing a ticket, it is necessary to remove the pre-mark from the insurance item (Aeroflot has it on the payment page for the order and entering bank card data).
If the traveler pays for unnecessary insurance, it is possible to refuse. You need to give the airline information about the refusal of the insurance service, then demand a refund.
