Koltsovo Airport was awarded the national award "Air Gate of Russia"
Koltsovo Airport (ekaterinburg) was awarded the national award "Air Gateway of Russia" - its freight transport infrastructure was recognized as the best in Russia.
Cargo complex Koltsovo is now one of the modern logistics complexes of the country. At its site there is an international mail processing center, with a capacity of 575 tons per day. The cargo terminal is located next to the parking lots for cargo flights, where the most popular cargo boards in the world - Boeing 747 - are served.
A few years ago, Koltsovo Airport won three of the eleven nominations of the Air Gate of Russia award.
The Air Gate of Russia Award is awarded annually by the Federal Air Transport Agency, the organizer of the National Airport Infrastructure and Civil Aviation Exhibition (NAIS&CA) – Reed Elseever LLC and the industry publication Airports International.
