All Inclusive in Krasnodar Krai: should we catch up with Turkey?

The authorities of the Krasnodar Territory report an increase in the number of hotels that offer all-inclusive vacations this season.

This season, 43 accommodation facilities provide all-inclusive services. Last August, there were 30 facilities, and they are mainly in Anapa, Sochi, Gelendzhik and Tuapse district.

“As the leading resort territory of Russia, we must show by our example that such a service should be made universal,” said Veniamin Kondratiev, the regional governor.

Most of the specialists of tour operators cautiously assess the growth of demand for Krasnodar “all inclusive”.

The percentage of tours under the All Inclusive scheme in the sales of resorts of the region tour operators estimate from 15 to 25% in the total sales of the direction.

Among the customers of the tour operator Biblio-Globus, who plan to relax in Sochi and in the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory, 20-25% buy tours with an all-inclusive food system. Most in demand this scheme in family hotels 3-4* Sochi, Anapa and Gelendzhik.

The tour operator Dolphin has a percentage of sales of tours to all-inclusive hotels in the Krasnodar Territory - 15-20%, the volume increased by 10% compared to last year. “The demand for holidays in the resorts of the Krasnodar region as a whole has increased compared to the level of last year, and the demand for all-inclusive hotels has increased proportionally,” TUI Russia said.

“Annual hotels Krasnodar Krai with AI tour operator “Intourist” was in the top sales, this season they are also popular, but if you consider the volumes, we can even note a slight decrease in demand for hotels with this service system”, – says Sergey Strebkov, head of the Department of domestic tourism tour operator “Intourist”.

Choosing a tour of Russia (Crimea, Sochi, Anapa), potential tourists, indicating the type of food, look for "all inclusive" in 31% of cases - almost every third tourist, but in real sales the share of tours in Russia is not higher than 2-3% - every thirtieth of the strength. Turkish hotels with AI win at the price of Russian hotels

The lack of a large demand for hotels in the ALL format in the Krasnodar Territory, experts explain mainly their high price. High as compared to other objects of the region (in domestic areas, the demand for budget holidays), and in comparison with hotels in Turkey (the difference in the cost of a room for objects of one category can reach from 15 to 30%).

The main problem of all-inclusive in domestic hotels is inflated prices compared to similar offers of foreign hotels and the lack of additional services. In the summer, the choice of Russians is influenced primarily by the price, so most choose the most budget options, including within the framework of the All Inclusive concept.

Tour operators note the non-standardization of the domestic “All inclusive”.

As a rule, in Turkish hotels, the concept of All Inclusive, even in the absence of regulation, is very similar in terms of the range of services. In the facilities of the Krasnodar Territory, each hotel may have its own concept with a different set of services, and the period of provision may be limited to the “peak” season.

Sergey Strebkov from Intourist believes that recently hotels have appeared in the region, they under the guise of “all inclusive” except for food on the “buffet” system do not offer additional services and so “speculate on a popular format”.

According to other experts, hotels announcing the all-inclusive system still “cheat”: do not give alcohol or provide it in limited quantities (only beer, and only at lunch).
Very frequent complaints of tourists about the congestion at food points in hotels, where they offer ALL: you need to wait for free tables, stand in queues for food.

Going with an eye on Turkey is not necessary. What matters is why and by whom such standards are developed. It is necessary not to impose “from above” norms, but to achieve the adoption and observance of all-inclusive standards by business – it is desirable that he himself develop recommendations.

Without a flexible approach to the implementation of all inclusive can not do. Experts say the risk of the region losing part of the tourist audience, if the region actually begin to “introduce” the AI scheme. With the transition of hotels to the all-inclusive system, there is a serious increase in the price of accommodation.

There are travelers who deliberately refuse all-inclusive because they are going to attend excursions, and do not want to pay for options that will not be used and choose hotels with BB or HB meal options.

Approximate price run-up for a weekly stay of two adults in September: from 25 187 rubles. hotel Grand Meridian 3 * Anapa to Bridge Resort 4 * Sochi - from 77,000 rubles.
