Archaeological Park near Krakow
On September 24, a new tourist route will open in Krakow, laid through the dungeons of the Market Square. According to the city administration, the area of 4 thousand square meters will become a platform for the unique archaeological park. Mayor Jacek Maichrowski is confident that the new park will be popular among locals as well as tourists. The dungeons will turn into a kind of museum, which will house more than 700 finds of archaeologists, about 500 graphic images of attractions, several dozen multimedia installations and 600 volumetric digital reconstructions. In the first two days of the exhibition you can see it for free, provided you have received a special ticket in advance. Free tickets can be found in the information centers of Krakow: on sw. Jana street, 2 or in the exhibition information pavilion Wyspianski.
