News from Global Blue

Armani Group opens new boutiques Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani in Hamburg.
September 2010, Hamburg – Armani Group is pleased to announce the opening of its new Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani stores in Hamburg. Located on Hohe Bleichen Street, the city's new trendy shopping street, the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani shops are next door. The two separate entrances reflect the individuality of each of the brands, while the showcases create a unique sense of elegance with which the name Armani has long been associated.

Giorgio Armani

The Giorgio Armani store, covering 220 square meters, is entirely dedicated to women’s and men’s clothing prêt-a-porter and accessories. The main concept of the store is to create a cozy space with season collections in which silk is the predominant material. The floor, decorated with sun-beige stone, creates an exquisite atmosphere. Large black carpets made of flax contrast with the glossy light floor. The bright ceiling, decorated with Marmorino plaster, adds a sense of coziness. Invisible lamps emphasize the contours or are aimed directly at clothing items and accessories.

Emporio Armani

The 250-square-metre Emporio Armani store offers a complete collection for men and women, including formal and casual clothing, sportswear, leather accessories, watches, glasses and jewelry. The store is decorated with asymmetrical contours of variable shapes. The curved walls are decorated with black glass and bronze silk fabric. A large screen located at the entrance is perfectly visible from the street – a dominant detail given the free space next to the store. The central part of the store is dedicated to the department of men's and women's accessories, located on crystal elements, accentuated by a carpet with a metal gloss. The rest of the space is decorated with large slabs of glossy warm-gray marble, while a black ceiling with lamps located on it emphasizes the curved shape of the walls. Large posters with illumination show both men's and women's collections.
