Association of tour operators of Russia explained the rules of entry to Turkey for vaccinated Russians

Turkey now recognizes only one Russian vaccine against coronavirus infection - Sputnik V, representatives of the tourism industry told RIA Novosti.

Vaccinated with other drugs to enter the country will need to provide the results of PCR or antigen test. Previously, the Turkish side recognized all vaccines registered in the country of departure.

Member of the Presidium of the Alliance of Travel Agencies Alexan Mkrtchyan told how, in his opinion, this will affect the flow of Russian tourists to Turkey.

The Sputnik V vaccine remains a monopoly in Turkey. Fortunately, 75% of Russians vaccinated against COVID-19 chose Sputnik V. This is the vast majority, so the decision will not hit us much. The remaining quarter will also be allowed into Turkey, but they will have to pass PCR tests. On sales ... we don't see a drop, we see growth. People buy vouchers to Turkey for October, said Alexan Mkrtchyan.
