Business asks to allow tourist trips to Russia from June 1

The newspaper of the Russian Union of Travel Industry cites an excerpt from a letter sent by the President of the RST Andrei Ignatiev and the President of the RSA Gennady Lamshin, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov and the head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova: “PCT and RSA (Russian Union of Travel Industry and Russian Hotel Association) proposed from June 1, 2020 to allow tourist trips within the country at least between regions with a low incidence of COVID-19”.

The authors of the letter hope that from January 1, 2021, it will be possible to consider the restoration of tours in the regions of Russia at the level that was before the pandemic.
