Bulgaria is waiting for the lifting of restrictions on air communication with Russia
Bulgarian Tourism Minister Hristo Prodanov told Russian Ambassador Eleonora Mitrofanova: I sincerely believe that our relations should be good, that our two peoples should deepen and maintain close ties. This will ensure successful future cooperation in tourism.”
According to him, the Ministry of Tourism of Bulgaria will actively popularize the country on the Russian market, to restore the interest of Bulgarians to travel to Russia.
The Bulgarian authorities want to strengthen advertising activities in the Russian market.
One of the important factors for the development of tourist relations is air communication.
So far, the Russian side has not lifted restrictions on flights to Bulgaria: charters are not allowed, and regular transportation is limited by quota.
As Hristo Prodanov stressed, Bulgaria hopes that the Russian authorities will lift restrictions on air traffic. The Ministry of Tourism of Bulgaria is ready to help resolve this issue.
