Bradford waiting for tourists

The authorities of Bradford (Bradford) – a small British city in West Yorkshire – decided to seriously engage in the organization of tourist flow.

A whole website dedicated to the city appeared on the Internet, and free city guides began to be distributed among residents. They were printed and distributed by Bradford travel agencies.

These guides are all about the city’s attractions – the tea with buns and cream in the cafe “Bettys”, as well as, for example, the paintings of David Hockney stored in the village of Saltaire.

One of the main attractions of the city are its famous residents. The writer J. B. Priestley was born in Bradford, and the Bronte sisters lived nearby in Hayworth. The city also houses the National Media Museum, which is visited by up to 500,000 tourists every year.

It is noteworthy that many Indian shops are mentioned among other attractions of the British Bradford, thanks to which in 2011 this city became the English capital of the curry.
