Charter carriers raise fuel charge on flights to Turkey

The majority of charter carriers in Turkey Since July, the price of fuel toll on flights has been raised: from July 3, the cost will increase from 35 to 40 euros.

According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, we are talking about carriers AZUR air (affiliated with Anex), Nordwind and PegasFly (affiliated with Pegasus), IrAero, RedWings, RoyalFlight (affiliated with Coral), Ural Airlines.

Turkish airlines will also have a higher fee, with OnurAir, Pegasus Airlines and AtlasGlobal raising the fee from 40 euros to 45 euros. However, not all charter airlines increased this fee.

According to tour operators, the increase in the fee is an initiative of carriers, it is possible that it is associated with increased costs for kerosene or spending in Turkish air harbors. Accordingly, by raising the fee in high season, it is expected to compensate for the losses of airlines.

At the end of June, the national carrier Aeroflot announced an increase in fuel charges from the beginning of July. On domestic flights - by 235 rubles, on international flights - by €5.

From July 1, the size of the fuel charge on domestic flights in the economy class will increase from 2,465 to 2,700 rubles. On flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg to the “countries of the post-Soviet space”, the fee will increase by €5 - from €15 to €20, or from 1080 to 1440 rubles. The fee in the Comfort class will be one and a half times higher, and in business it will double. For example, when flying in business class to Yerevan, the fuel fee will be €40 from July 1. The fuel charge is adjusted to the fuel costs per passenger depending on the class of service.

According to ATOR estimates, information about the growth of fuel collection, which was sent by tour operators, was accepted by travel agencies calmly. The cost of rest will increase, but the amount even per family will be conditionally small, and most likely tourists will not change the decision to travel.
