What do Russians expect after the end of the pandemic?

Russian travelers shared their expectations for the period after the decline of the coronavirus pandemic and the opening of borders - most look at the summer holiday season with optimism.

This is evidenced by the results of a study of the analytical center NAFI.

88% of Russians, subject to the normalization of the epidemiological situation, hope for a foreign vacation, 44% of respondents want to go on a trip to Europe, 23% to Asia, 12% to Russia.

Many respondents after the lifting of restrictions expect an increase in prices for air and rail tickets - they believe that the increase in the cost will affect plane tickets than trains (74% vs. 62%). Respondents are preparing for a rise in the price of accommodation in Russian and foreign hotels (72% vs. 56%).

Earlier it was reported that the Russians, who refused to postpone travel by plane because of the coronavirus pandemic, explained their actions. 16% said they used domestic flights due to low airfare prices in March and April, and 9% did not return their tickets.
