Czech caves lure tourists with flashlights

In the Czech Republic, the Koneprus caves (the second largest cave system in the country after Moravia) have a tradition of turning off lights every last Monday of the month. Thanks to this, tourists can view stalagmites and stalactites only with the help of hand lanterns, getting a lot of unexpected impressions. And in October of this year, everyone will be able to enjoy the extraordinary spectacle twice - on October 21 and 25, from half past nine to half past three. The Koneprussian cave system was discovered only in 1950. There are rumors that in the 15th century there was a factory of counterfeiters. Now the most unique decoration of the caves are small stalactites in the form of rose flowers.
