What did tourists not like in the Crimea-2018?
Biletix conducted a survey of users to find out the claims of tourists for the holiday season - 2018.
The biggest discontent among travelers who have been vacationing on the peninsula this season is caused by inflated prices and underdeveloped resort infrastructure.
66.9% say prices are too high. This, and almost all other answers to the question “What did you dislike most about Crimea?” received fewer votes than a year ago.
26.3% of respondents indicate the position “Too many tourists”, in 2017 – 24.2%, “Unfriendly locals” (11.9% vs. 11.5%).
As noted in the ticket agency, there were more people willing to return to the peninsula - 56.8% of respondents said such intentions (in 2017 there were 44.9%).
In addition, every second survey participant is ready to recommend Crimea to his family and friends (32% last season).
Observers partially explain the emerging trend by the changed exchange rate and the orientation of tourists to the domestic market. Due to the weakening of the ruble, the south of Russia is increasingly gaining more points in comparison with away tours.
The answers to the question of what I liked the most in Crimea were as follows: beautiful nature, good climate, clean beaches and the sea, a rich excursion program.
Tour operators operating on the peninsula have a positive outlook for the velvet season. Suppliers expect that 20% more tourists will come to Crimea than last year.
