What do Russians bring from their travels?
About a third of Russians prefer not to bring souvenirs, but food and alcohol.
MAPS service and research platform Research@mail conducted a survey to find out what Russians bring from tourist trips.
The survey involved travelers who have traveled at least once in the past year. 69% of them traveled to Russia, 12% – to Russia and abroad, every fifth – only abroad.
The majority of respondents (60%) bring home souvenirs, 57% – magnets on the refrigerator. Gastronomic souvenirs (cheese, jamon, chocolate) are chosen by 34%, 31% - alcoholic beverages.
Also, Russians buy clothes, alcohol, jewelry, books, medicines.
