What will tourists see at the Vostochny spaceport?

The fourth launch from the Vostochny cosmodrome will be watched by 24 tourists. There were more people, but people changed their minds after the change in the day of the start from 25 to 27 December, they are still afraid of high prices and cold.

The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle will launch Russian remote sensing and emergency monitoring satellites Canopus-B No. 5 and No. 6 into target orbits.

In the Amur region, three travel companies can sell tours to the Vostochny cosmodrome. Tickets were not sold for the third launch from Vostochny (1 February), the determining factor was the cost - 9.5 thousand rubles for an adult ticket and about 4 for a children's one. The price of an adult decreased: 6.5 thousand rubles, for a child the cost is the same.

The manager of the agency "Sputnik" says that "people from Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Amursk will go to the observation deck from us."

After the launch, travelers are scheduled for lunch, a visit to the aerospace museum and the science city of Tsiolkovsky.

In the tourist center "Amur" reported that many people turn to them to see the launch, but many are afraid of the cost, cold and difficult road to the cosmodrome.

There were 18 people, that is, three small groups, as a result, we bring one family - three people from the village of Talakan (Amur region). They called on excursions almost every day, but people were stopped by the road itself: three hours in one direction and three in the other for the spectacle, which will last, relatively speaking, nine minutes.

“The Far East was mainly interested, the Khabarovsk people appealed. And many asked about the possibility of traveling for their foreign guests from Azerbaijan, Eastern Europe, Ukraine.”

Between starts on the Vostochny there are regular excursions with a visit to the mobile service tower, the launch complex and the museum.

The flow of tourists has increased: if last year there were six thousand visitors, this year - already more. In the inter-launch period, the excursions were almost every day, autumn was very good in attendance, schoolchildren were traveling from the Khabarovsk Territory, says Olga Astapenko, lecturer-guide of the space museum.
The number has also increased due to the fact that schoolchildren of the Amur region (9-11 grades) are taken on excursions in the process of career guidance.
