State Duma deputy suggested Medvedev to create a state tour operator

State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov proposed opening a state tourism company with reliable guarantees against bankruptcy.

Such a proposal was sent to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. The letter states that “every summer people face unforeseen difficulties and challenges on the way to a cherished holiday” because travel operators claim to be bankrupt.

The politician is convinced that in the current situation, the opening of a travel company on the basis of a joint-stock company will help, in which 51% will be able to dispose of the authorities.

Vitaly Milonov is confident that the implementation of such an initiative "would become a manifestation of the "smart power" of our country and would have a positive impact on the image of the Russian Federation abroad."
