Who will be building a hotel at the North Pole?

CNN Travel reports that the most unusual hotel in the world will open at the North Pole in 2020.

In April 2020, in the northernmost place of the Earth, a hotel will open, which offers unforgettable experiences for adventurers and adrenaline lovers.

At Luxury Action, the company that initiated the hotel in the heart of the Arctic Ocean, guests are guaranteed a south-facing view.

The North Pole Igloos will have 10 heated needles and a separate toilet. Staff: Director, wildlife guide, chef and security personnel.

Full package – 95,000 euros: a two-day stay on the island of Svalbard, flight to the North Pole and back, overnight stays, meals, guide services.

The hotel will be located on one of the glaciers, where tourists will be taken by helicopter. The hotel will be mobile and will change position based on the weather.

The creators of the North Pole Igloos note that the temporary northern hotel does not pose a threat to the Arctic environment - the equipment will be on the glacier a month, and then return to Svalbard.

Luxury Action said: The North Pole is one of the most exclusive tourist destinations in the world, but there are no good and convenient accommodation facilities. We intend to remedy this situation.”

The North Pole is inaccessible most of the year, but can be reached by helicopter in April and by ship in June and July. Each year, it is visited by about 1,000 travelers who live in tents and bring the equipment needed to ensure safety in an aggressive frozen environment.
