The house of Steve jobs declared a historical landmark
Steve Jobs’ home in Los Altos, where he spent his teenage years, has become a historic landmark.
The decision to recognize this house as a landmark was made unanimously by members of the city commission for historical sites. The house is now owned by Jobs' sister Patricia.
According to the publication, the presence of the status of historical attraction at the house allows the commission, if the owners want to rebuild the house, to give the city council recommendations in this regard. It is also reported that the permission of the owners is not required to give the house this status, although they have the right to protest it.

The Jobs family moved to Christ Drive, 2066, when Steve was in seventh grade. The Los Altos home and garage hold a key place in Apple’s history, as Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak assembled the first fifty copies of the Apple I computer in 1976.
