Domodedovo resumed its work

Moscow airport "Domodedovo" temporarily did not work due to the fact that due to bad weather, power lines were covered with ice. His work has now been restored by 80%. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, another Moscow Sheremetyevo airport did not disturb the weather. Over the weekend, about 100 flights were delayed in Domodedovo – “ice rain” cut off electrical lines at substations in Podolsk and nearby villages. Nearly 8,000 people were unable to leave the airport on Saturday and Sunday. Only at 22.00 on Sunday was power restored, and at night began registration of domestic flights. Weather conditions disrupted the life of not only the airport, but also some regions: almost 500 people were left without electricity, serious disruptions occurred on the railway.
