Two months of 'open doors' at Buckingham Palace

From July 27 to September 29, Buckingham Palace, one of London’s most famous sites, will be open to visitors. While the Queen of Great Britain will be in the summer residence in Balmoral, tourists will be able to walk around the palace and watch the exhibition, which will be dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Among the exhibits will be a purple mantle with a length of 6.5 m, a white satin dress from the coronation and a world-famous diamond diadem. The dining room will feature gold and silver cutlery and porcelain from the day of the coronation.

In addition, in Buckingham Palace you can look at the paintings of great artists: Rembrandt, Poussin, Rubens and others, as well as see the sculptures of Chartrey and Canova, objects from Sevres porcelain.
