Egypt does not expect to see Russian tourists in the near future

In the near future, Egypt does not expect the return of tourists from Russia. This declaration was given by the Deputy Head of the Union of Tourist Chambers of ARE Mustafa Khalil.

According to the official, there are no signs that air traffic between Egypt and Russia can be restored in the near future. In Egypt, Russian tourists are waiting. Mustafa Khalil: The country’s tourism business has already developed a special campaign to attract travelers from Russia, which will be launched immediately after Moscow removes all restrictions on flights to the republic. Earlier, representatives of the Egyptian tourism industry said that the return of Russian tourists will not occur before 2018. Despite all the efforts made by the Egyptian government at the airports of the country in order to restore the flow of tourists from Russia to Egypt, the Russian side only puts forward new demands. I do not expect Russian tourists to return to Egypt before mid-2018, said Hisham Ali, head of the South Sinai Tourism Investors Association.
