Egypt is open to Russians again

Last night, the media reported that the Russian Foreign Ministry allowed Russian travel agencies to open the sale of tours to Egypt. The permission was given very carefully.

According to the report of the Ministry, in Egypt There is still a state of emergency, and in some areas the situation is still quite tense. But the main Egyptian resorts – Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh – can be assessed as safe for Russian tourists, as the situation there is currently calm.

The Russian Foreign Ministry recommends that Russians traveling to these resorts be vigilant and exclude excursions to other areas of Egypt from their trip. Also among the recommendations is the advice to travel not individually, but as part of groups and make trips through proven and reputable tour operators, which are included in the Unified Federal Register.
