Egypt plans to abolish visas for Russians
The leadership of the Arab Republic wants to consider the option of refusing visas for residents of Russia after the opening of air traffic. This information is provided by the Association of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation.
Currently, Russians entering Egypt must pay 25 USD upon entry. The exception is Sharm el-Sheikh, entry to this city is free. Experts believe that the refusal of visas will allow at the first stage after the launch of flights to attract more Russians.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed a desire to resume flights to Egypt as soon as possible, and accepted an invitation to visit the Arab Republic on an official visit.
