Egypt simplifies entry of tourists
Egypt has launched an electronic platform for tourists. Travelers can register their certificates or tests to simplify the sanitary control process.
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) informs: “On the portal visitegypt.gov.eg, at least two days before the start of the trip, you can electronically register by filling out a health declaration and indicating information about vaccination or testing for coronavirus. As a result of filling out the questionnaire and considering its staff sanitary quarantine tourist in the post will come QR-code”.
The QR code must be stored digitally or printed and presented to airline representatives at the airport gate before departure to Egypt and to local authorities when entering the country.
Officially, the platform supports three languages: English, Arabic and Russian.
You can enter the country in the old way by filling out a paper questionnaire on board the aircraft.
