Love Road Festival

The annual (already third) festival of hiking tourism “Road of Love” will be held from February 23, 2011 to June 4. Each participant will be able to walk around the whole of Israel – from Eilat to Mount Hermon. It will take about 100 days to make this trip, including a three-week stop near the Dead Sea in the Judean Desert. The festival will open on February 23 on the border of Jordan and Israel, followed by a two-day music parade in Eilat, as well as a festival at the Migdalor Beach Hotel. The campaign itself will begin on February 27 with the crossing of Mount Eilat. During the trip, tourists will be able to see the most picturesque places in Israel: mountains, rivers, beaches, lakes of forests and much more. In addition, participants are waiting for interesting meetings with local residents. The first part of the campaign, which will end on April 16, will take place in southern Israel. The second (final part) includes the transition from Jerusalem along the Mediterranean coast to Tel Aviv to the Jordan Valley and the final point – Mount Hermon.
