Ice Cream Festival in Italy

Florence invites tourists to a unique ice cream festival. This event is becoming more popular every year.

Last year alone, about 400,000 people attended the festival. In the same year, the organizers promise a rich program and many new products. Many confectioners will take part in the battle for the best ice cream at the Firenze Gelato Festival 2011. And the participants of the festival will be able to enjoy the famous delicacy from the best manufacturers and participate in the process of cooking ice cream.

So that everyone could take part in the events, the organizers set the opening hours of the festival for all days from 12 to 24 hours.

Participants of the festival have already celebrated the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, creating ice cream painted in the colors of the Italian tricolor: white (taste of cheese grana padano and vanilla), red (tomato) and green (basilica).

For those who like to eat ice cream in the company of their pets, the festival will feature dog ice cream - "Ice Bau" (rice, yogurt and vanilla). But if you like Japanese food, then you should definitely try Temaki Ice and Sushi Ice.
