Where do Russians want to visit in the autumn?
More than half of travelers (58%) plan to spend this autumn abroad.
Most often, Russians choose hotels in Turkey (16.4% of searches) and Thailand (9.5%). In the top ten desired countries for autumn holidays also included Japan (5.8%), Italy (5.4%), UAE (5.3%), China (5.1%), Abkhazia (3.9%), Vietnam (3.5%), France (3.2%) and Belarus (3.1%).
As for specific cities, Istanbul tops the list of foreign destinations, with 4.3% of travelers looking for hotels for the period from September to November choosing options in this Turkish metropolis. Dubai is in second place (3.6%), and Antalya is in third place (3.0%). Also in demand are Tokyo (2.8%), Minsk (2.4%), Pattaya (2.3%), Seoul (2.2%), Phuket (2.1%), Paris (2.0%) and Rome (1.7%).
Among Russian cities, where travelers would like to go this fall, St. Petersburg leads with 12.1% of search queries. In second place is Sochi (11.0%), and Moscow occupies only the third place with an indicator of 8.6%.
