Where do travelers keep their money on vacation?

Tutu conducted a study of 1,600 people to find out where modern tourists store their savings.

A traveler who keeps up with the times prefers to take some cash with him, and store it in the designated places, rather than hiding it under the mattress.

51% of tourists chose the option of “store nothing”, as they go on vacation with a card and take a minimum of cash. Another 17% trust official places of storage – and leave money and other valuables in a safe in the room or at the reception.

15% of tourists prefer to take cash with them when they leave the room, another 10% put their savings in their luggage. Non-trivial methods, such as putting money in a room under a mattress, are chosen by 4%.
