Where were Russians able to afford a vacation in 2018?
Online travel agency OZON.travel conducted a survey, which found that 65% of Russians this year vacationed inside the country, and 52% reported that they visited Europe.
27% of respondents could afford to travel to their home country and European countries.
It turned out that people often organize trips on their own. This was stated by 83% of respondents, and they rarely travel with relatives and friends – 60% of users admitted that they choose a vacation together.
Experts were able to establish that when buying tickets, travelers need time to make a decision: 59% buy a ticket ten days after the search, 26% take eleven or more days, and 15% of buyers pay for a ticket in a few hours.
