Where are the good roads in Russia and where are the bad ones?

Rosstat presented an updated rating of the state of roads in the Russian regions.

The Federal State Statistics Service allocated places depending on various factors, for example, the strength and evenness of the roadway, its coupling qualities, visibility. The total figure reflects the percentage of compliance of regional and inter-municipal roads with existing standards.

Roads in Moscow are recognized as the best in the country: in the capital, almost all of them meet the requirements - 97%. In Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (85%), Stavropol (75%) and Krasnoyarsk Krai (71%), Ingushetia (70%) roads are not ideal, but in good condition.

Good roads (60-70%) in St. Petersburg, Penza, Moscow, Voronezh, Tyumen, Belgorod regions.

Terrible situation in Mari El - more than 1% of roads meet the norms there. There are big problems with roads in Magadan, Arkhangelsk, Saratov regions, Altai, Kalmykia.
