The state Duma will study the possibility of reducing charter flights
In the Russian Federation, the number of charter flights will be reduced - such a proposal is going to be discussed in the State Duma. This information is reported by the head of the Duma on transport Evgeny Moskvichev.
According to the expert, in connection with the current situation with VIM-Avia, at the request of State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, a working group was formed that prepared proposals to increase control over the aviation market, including the creation of a personal liability fund for carriers and the growth of cash payments for passengers of delayed flights.
We want fewer charter flights and more scheduled flights. And, if a passenger takes a tourist ticket in a travel agency, he should immediately receive a round trip ticket, with a date and approximate departure time, explains E. Moskvichev.
Recall that in the summer of this year, commenting on the rolling delays of VIM-avia, the head of Rosaviatsiya Alexander Neradko said that if the massive delays of flights do not stop, the Agency does not exclude the possibility of canceling all charters.
