Greece and Russia will expand the geography of flights
The aviation authorities of Russia and Greece have agreed to expand the geography of flights, Russian carriers will be allowed to fly to Corfu and Mykonos.
Taking into account the mutual interest of our airlines in increasing the number of destinations, we would like to offer the following: up to two Russian air carriers will be able to fly to Corfu and Mykonos from Russia, up to two Greek airlines will be able to fly from Yekaterinburg to the republic and from another city of Russia at the choice of the Greek side.
As noted in the document, each party will be able to appoint an additional 14 flights per week. The timing of the launch of flights in the document is not named.
Domestic airlines will be able to operate flights to Greece from Russia to the following destinations: Athens. Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes, Kos, Zakynthos, Santorini, Chania, Corfu and Mykonos.
Departures from the Russian Federation by Greek airlines are allowed from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Samara, Caucasian mineral waters, Perm, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg and another Russian city.
