Greece cancels mandatory quarantine for Russians with vaccinations

Greece has lifted a mandatory quarantine for Russians who enter the country if they have both a negative PCR test and a vaccination certificate.

On this subbot, April 24, reports “RIA Novosti” with a link to the joint ministerial decision of Greece.

The new ruling will be valid from April 26 to May 3.

Until May 3, the limit for 4,000 Russians per week is extended, and it is allowed to fly to the country through nine airports, and not through three, as it was before.
Russian citizens will no longer need to be on prophylactic quarantine for a week if they present a negative PCR laboratory test for coronavirus and a certificate of completion at least 14 days before the vaccination trip.

The test must be done 72 hours before their arrival in Greece, with a certificate in English indicating all data. Selective testing for COVID-19 is possible at the airport of arrival.

Greece against the background of the coronavirus pandemic allowed 500 Russians a week from September 7, 2020, since then the decree has been extended.
Since March 22, the number of permits has increased eightfold.
